It appears Ja’Wuan James is staying in Miami. In an Instagram post Tuesday afternoon, the Dolphins right tackle wrote we got some unfinished business to take care of.

James was scheduled to make $9.34 million in the option year of his rookie deal, a Max Scherzer Jersey price the team apparently didn’t want to pay as Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reported Monday the Dolphins had presented James with a contract offer.

Craig Mish reports that the Miami Dolphins have signed RB Frank Gore to a contract on Thursday.

According to Pro Football Talk, Gore receives a one-year contract.

Gore previously met with the Lions before they signed LeGarrette Blount. However, Gore will get an opportunity to return to Miami and finish out his NFL career.

Gore, 34, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2005. He spent 10 seasons in San Francisco before signing a three-year, $12 million contract that included $7.5 million guaranteed with the Colts back in 2015.

The Seahawks continue to add depth to their defensive line, signing free-agent defensive tackle Shamar Stephen to a one-year deal, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL.com (on Twitter). Stephen becomes the second former Vikings defensive lineman to sign with the Seahawks in as many days, with Tom Johnson agreeing to a deal with Seattle on Friday.

Peliserro also noted (on Twitter) that Stephen sustained a meniscus injury in the postseason and has already undergone surgery this offseason. But he鈥檚 expected to be ready for OTAs and the Vikings had also wanted to re-sign him.

Stephen, 27, appeared in 15 games last year, making one start and collected a sack after starting all 16 games for the Vikings in 2016.

Here’s why: Pierre-Paul was never really a dominant pass rusher. His strength was against the run, and that was before the accident that cost him nearly three fingers on his hand. Pierre-Paul made the most of his second chance, though, and perhaps some sentimentality played into the organization giving him his big contract last March.
